Buyer context
Separate sample supply from serial supply. A prototype review may assess fit, handling and identification, while a serial quotation also needs an agreed revision, acceptance record and delivery schedule. The commercial proposal should say which stage it covers.
Putting it into the enquiry
Avoid using a photograph as the sole specification. It can communicate appearance, but it does not establish what is included, which tests apply or what constitutes acceptance. Request an approved packaging drawing through the agreed document exchange process before release to production.
